The Black Women Prosecutor Project

In partnership with the Black Prosecutors Association

BLACK WOMEN MAKE UP ONLY ABOUT 1.5% OF PROSECUTORS.

The Black Women Prosecutors Project aims to foster a supportive and empowering community for Black women prosecutors.

Our free programs provide a platform for Black women prosecutors to come together, learn from one another, and forge bonds, ensuring they never feel alone in their journey.

The Black Women Prosecutors Project provides Black women prosecutors nationwide a holistic approach to community, mentorship, and professional growth.

Sponsorship for the "Resilience" Workshop at the National Black Prosecutors Annual Conference Boston 2024

The Sarita and Claire Wright Lucas Foundation is pleased to announce “Resilience,” a workshop that will take place at The National Black Prosecutors Association’s National Annual Conference in Boston, MA, in August 2024.

The main purpose of this workshop is to equip Black Women Prosecutors with the essential tools and resources to effectively manage the demands of their high-pressure professions. It is worth mentioning that only 1% of prosecutors are Black women, which highlights the need for targeted support and empowerment initiatives.
